Baby loves Skwish

Meet the Manhattan Toys Skwish Classic. At first blush, it doesn't look like much. Nothing lights up, no synthesized classical music ekes forth, and there are no space aged chewing surfaces. A tech savvy parent might be inclined to overlook this little gem for something more overtly educational but don't do it!

The Skwish is just what baby needs. It's easy for tiny hands to clutch, maneuver and shake. The wood beads sliding along the wooden dowels makes a soft sound much like a rain stick. The Skwish is designed to take a beating, bouncing back to it's original shape after being flattened. And, with a bright happy paint job, it's eye catching for little ones.

My son, Boden, finds the Manhattan Toys Skwish to be exciting, infinitely mouth explorable (it's fantastic for teethers), and counts it among his favorite toy picks. Bo is my 4th child to love this simple yet fully engaging toy.

At under $15, this is an impressive and economical baby gift for a baby shower, birth or Christmas.
